Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has established Career Counselling Cell to provide a vibrant platform to meet the demands of career coaching and guidance. The Cell aims to assist students from different fields and streams in gaining the skills required to move on the path of vital career resolutions and career-related resources. It aspires to prepare students for their future difficulties by offering learning support and opportunities in the areas of academic, professional, personal, and social development. This Cell will consist of the team members as representatives from all the colleges and institutes under the aegis of DSGMC. It will provide guidance and support regarding the entire admission process, available scholarship schemes and various minority schemes that will help the students make the right career choices. The Cell will address any inquiry regarding the student's career and higher education. It will also conduct Career Assessment Tests for the students that will guide them to choose the right career option and future fields for their education.
The Career Counselling Cell will improve the student's capabilities in self- knowledge, educational and occupational exploration, and career planning by engaging them in one-to-one sessions or panel discussions. The students will be given specific advice on how to make career decisions that are mapped to and aligned with their passions and interests in order to help them achieve their career goals and act as a transition between their schooling and graduate college, enabling them to put what they have learned into practice.
